Build something that's actually yours.
Anchor Partner, Realty of America — North & South Carolina
I get asked what Realty of America actually is more than anything else on this site. Here's the real version — the comp structure, the platform, the support system, and what I actually do as the anchor partner for the Carolinas.
Ownership, not rent.
Most agents spend their whole career renting their business from someone else. You produce, the brokerage profits, and when you leave you take your name and your database and nothing else. That's the model almost everyone in this industry grew up inside of, and most people never question it because it's the only one they've seen.
Realty of America was built differently. It's a platform built around the agent instead of the other way around, and the numbers back it up.
Post-cap fees step down as your production grows instead of staying flat — the more you close, the less it costs you per transaction. On top of the split there's real revenue share for the people you bring into the business and real equity through the company's RSU program. None of it is hypothetical. It's structured into how the company grows.
Six tools, one login.
Every agent gets the same stack. None of it requires stitching five disconnected apps together yourself, and single sign-on means one login instead of six passwords.
You also get a personalized agent website with a built-in buyer and seller lead portal, and the ROA+ app for tracking your business and your revenue share in real time.
Real people, not a help desk.
Training built by people who still produce, not theory pulled from a textbook. Mentorship from agents who've done the deal you're stuck on, not just recruiters chasing a headcount. A support team that shows up on the transactions that get complicated, not just the easy ones — Dedicated Broker Support handles compliance and the transaction side, and an Agent Success Team handles anything tech-related.
Realty of America is led by people who've actually built this before. Founder and CEO Eddie Garcia built one of Chicago's top-ranked brokerages before taking this national, with a career built on the idea that agents should own more of what they build. Co-founder Mark Dimas ran a team that closed over a billion dollars in production in a single year. Neither of them is theorizing about this business. They've done it.
Where ROA stands right now.
Realty of America is growing fast, and the Carolinas are next.
What an anchor partner actually is.
Anchor partner isn't a title I applied for. Realty of America is opening North and South Carolina for real, and my job is to help get that started right.
In practice that means I answer the real questions for any agent in the Carolinas thinking about this move — what the model actually pays, how the equity works, what the first year looks like — regardless of whose team you'd eventually join. I'm not the one who onboards you day to day once you're in. That's handled by Realty of America's own Agent Success Team. My job is the part before the decision, not the paperwork after it.
If we end up working together, you're also in reach of the Operators Network — the same operating principles on this site, the same room I try to build around the people I work with directly. It's not a separate program and it's not the reason to make this move. It's just what you get on top of it if we're a fit.
Straight answers.
Let's talk it through.
If any of this looks like something worth exploring, let's have a real conversation. I'll answer whatever's actually on your mind — the model, the numbers, the timing, all of it — whether you end up in my world or somebody else's.
